Jack Keroauc grave site photo project, HOWL and other poems – no Ural content

I am taking a photo of Jack Kerouac’s grave site every day this year.  It is the 100th anniversary of his birth.  He was born, lived, and was buried in Lowell MA, where I now live.  For those with a photography bent, I am making this easy by using a 70+ year old Anniversary Speed Graphic 4×5 camera.

Jack Kerouac was one of the Beats, a group of poets and writers in the 1940’s through today.  Although he died in 1969 and there are few of the original Beats left now.   Allen Ginsberg is my favorite Beat writer.  I have “HOWL and other poems” on my left arm.
